Being Mean to Fat People Is Pointless: A Good Old-Fashioned Plea for Civility
Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 8:00AM Being fat is not the health issue it's portrayed as. Disease is associate with being fat, but fat is not causal. Most people who die every year are over 60 and obesity is not a factor, being underweight is. What's considered fat has changed. The BMI number has been constantly reducted putting more people into the fat category. Now we have an approach in medicine where they cause a perfectly correctly functioning organ to partially fail. Guess what I'm talking about?
