CrossFit is fun, challenging and not trivial

Everyone can do CrossFit regardless of fitness level or ability.

CrossFit is an ANSI accredited program.

A CrossFit workout is like going to practice

If you have ever played sports then you know what working out at CFTally is like.

It's like practice.  Remember practice? For most people that have played sports it was the fittest they have have ever been in their life.  It wasn't playing the sport exactly it was practicing for the sport that got them in such good shape.

Remember for every practice:

  1. You had a certain time to be there.
  2. You never worked out alone.
  3. You always had a coach or trainer at practice with you.
  4. The coaches never asked you what you wanted to do. They already knew what you needed to do.
  5. You went to practice everyday.

This is a good description of a CrossFit workout at CFTally!

Our goal is to get you in the best shape of your life, and then get even better!

Specifically, CrossFit is a General Physical Preparation program (GPP).

This means is we are not training specialist, not that there is anything wrong with running marathons or getting really, really strong. We have members that do these and many other sports.

At CFTally we are in the business of helping you create physical capacity. Physical capacity includes things like strength, stamina, flexibility, coordination, etc.

What does it take for you to continue getting better and better?

  • Good Coaching
  • Great Facility
  • Wonderful Community
  • Your Commitment

At CrossFit Tallahassee we provide you with everything needed to enable you to be the fittest of your life including:

  • A 5,238 square foot facility loaded with bars, bumpers, kettlebells, gymnastic rings, pull-up bars, and numerous other devices designed for use in CrossFit Wods.
  • Coaches with years of experience and many CrossFit specialty certifications.
  • CrossFit programming that systemically moves you from untrained to intermediate to an elite level of fitness.
  • Hours that accommodate every schedule.
  • A community of people that love CrossFit and love working out together.

Fitness Assessment/ CrossFit Intro

We have found the best way to introduce you to what we do at CFTally is through our fitness assessment.

This is your chance to:

  • Experience a CrossFit workout
  • See our facility
  • Meet our coaches
  • Learn about CrossFit methodology
  • Your first visit is always Free at CFTally!

Our goal for this meeting is to answer your questions and give you enough information so you can decide if your up for the CrossFit challenge.

Foundation Course

If you decide to move forward with us at CFTally the next step is to sign up for our Foundation Course.

CrossFit uses movements from Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics and Metabolic Conditioning, and we do these things in constantly evolving and revolving variety.

This means you have a lot to learn. I can say this with confidence because we have never met anyone that was familiar with all of these domains who weren't already CrossFitters!

We never throw a new athlete in to the regular workout of the day (WOD) without training.

Unless you have experience at another CrossFit affiliate everyone completes our Foundation program. Your particular fitness level isn't the issue, rather it's current familiarity with the nine basic moves that CrossFit uses.

There are three Foundation classes and each class is run exactly as a regular workout of the day (WOD), except with extra time for teaching. As with any CrossFit workout we will scale the workouts as necessary for you to complete the workout.

Don't worry if you are "out of shape" you can still do it! We make sure you can.

After the Foundation Course

Once you've completed the Foundation sessions you'll join the regular CrossFit workouts.

CrossFit works best when you integrate it into your life.

You take care of your family, your job, your car, now take care of yourself!

If this sounds good to you then give us a call today at 850-566-3269 and we'll get the ball rolling!

Compare us!

We only want you to join us for the right reasons.  That means you need understand what we do and a good way to do that is to compare us with other fitness approaches, especially those you have already tried.

To this end we have prepared a guide to comparing CFTally with other fitness alternatives.
