Coaching at CFTally
CFTally is a coaching intensive environment.
Feedback on your athletic effort is essential for you to improve. Some gyms rely on self-help such as mirrors, but at CFTally we believe a hands-on approach is most effective. We have found slow motion video to be an invaluable tool, which we try to use anytime we feel it will help.
Slowing the motion of the movement down helps athletes clearly see their own movements and gives them and you a chance to study how others perform the same movement.
The Purpose of the Videos: Compare and contrast
Our videos are not intended to be perfect examples of the movement they depict, rather they are for the individual athlete to get feedback on what they did on that rep. As such please do not take these videos as instructional of proper movement. Remember our athletes are coached before, during and after these videos are taken. No particular video depicts either the best or the worse efforts of that athlete on that day, rather every video is a sample. We generally do not take more than one or two videos of each athlete and never on low skill movements.
Another use of these videos is to show what we do and the kind of attention you'll receive here at CFTally.
