There are lots of reasons to start a CrossFit affiliate. Some start them because they love CrossFit and want to get as many people as possible doing it. Some start an affiliate because they are too poor to buy their own equipment, so they charge others in order to get what they want. Some do it because they like it, but it's a hobby for them.

At CFTally we run a CrossFit affiliate because we love CrossFit and we want to get as broad a group of people as we can to do CrossFit. You'll see in our pictures that we have people of all ages, sizes and capabilities. Some CrossFit affiliates actively try to avoid the untrained, obese, older people and kids.  We want them all.

CrossFit is about dealing with the unknown and the unknowable. We think taking on different kinds of people at different stages of their lives makes us better coaches. We love to coach the young and fit, but honestly they are not much of a coaching challenge.  Like all CrossFitters we LOVE a challenge!
