I was checking out your site and noticed that you did the wod “Elizabeth” today. I noticed that you changed the prescribed squat cleans to power cleans. This changes the entire wod. I was just wondering your reasoning for this.

This is an old issue. Read the CrossFit boards for both sides. It seems the prevailing opinion is to go as fast as possible from ground to shoulder (clean). I understand your confusion since a clean involves a squat, I have it too, but in an effort to be consistent between my athletes I elected to specify the fastest method possible. Different affiliates differ.
